Supposed to be sleeping as tmrw will be another busy day but....... i found something new on facebook. well, not really new and not really found it, i knew it was there.... more like.... ......i tried out something and....................i think..... i think...... i'm addicted :S it's fun la... lolx!!! lost so much at the start looking like an idiot but towards the end, i started to get lucky hence i got kinda addicted.

Apartment cleaning yesterday. Finally some pictures! Still haven't took pictures of the houses over here and the uni.Will do it one day. Slow and steady la.... atm.... here's my nest for the next 4 months...

Homeless No More
I found my place yesterday. I moved in today.
It's a nice place. If only I knew about it earlier on that it would have saved me from the hunting, the sleepless nights and the blisters.

I'm staying at UQAM residences -University from Quebec in Montreal (after translating to English). So it's something like how Auck uni students go and stay at Wellesley student apartments. HAha!! And it feels a bit wellesley-ish as well where there's a living room, a kitchen and then individual rooms. But.... wellesley is bigger and it's close to auck uni. Here, it's 20 mins walk to mcgill. It's all good tho as the metro is only 5 mins walk. Heheheehe... would be good during winter.

Didn't think that we could stay at other universities' residences. Plus, this place did not come up in google during my search because..... it's in french! It's a french university where everything is taught in french. Hence, most people who stays here speaks french and maybe a lil bit of english or not at all! Hardly any parasites from Mcgill stays here. Only know 2 others i.e. evangeline and the other guy that told us about this place.

Very happy with this place. Price also quite alright. $490 a month but we have to buy our own bedsheets and kitchen utensils. Thank goodness for family friends :D Lovely, kind, helpful and nice family friends who's gonna lend me some sheets and pillows, kettle and a toaster. Ahhhh!!! And friday, they are gonna take me out for dinner!

I'm close to being broke right now as I had 600 CAD cash with me when I came. Now have 50 left. Used them to pay for backpackers, food, sim card and my accommodation for the next two weeks as they count the rental starting from middle of the month. Can't bank in my bank draft till next Tuesday and it takes 5 working days to process. So basically I have 50 bucks to survive for more than a week. Will of course borrow some money from evangeline but trying not to. Hehehe...

Alrighteyyy.. time to sleep. It was a long day today. Tomorrow will have to register for my papers and then it's....... house cleaning day!!!!

BUT...... met someone during the exchange students information session who's staying at a residence like building and he said that there's still 2 bedroom apartments available... so yeaa.... fingers cross and hopefully no one takes it when we go check it out tmrw!!!

can't wait to settle down... this house hunting thing is so shitty... those who wants to go on an exchange, i advise u to look for uni that offers accommodation!!! coz looking for it just consumes a lot of time and you don't get to enjoy/appreciate anything here..... u kno, i haven't took a single picture since i arrived... miserable....

life is hard

i'm about to cry already.. i wanna cry already....

no, not because i'm homesick.... it's this apartment hunting thing that is making life so hard...

and it really really is different over here. and to think canada is an english speaking country. this part of canada, the majority speaks french. everything's in french! instructions also in french. wanted to catch the bus and everything's in french. Baskeettttt!! At least we managed to figure out what monday-sunday is.

and the people here....not friendly.. majority aren't. they know how to speak english but they just don't want to. they just speak french... urgh! i thought that only happens in france!!!

shitttt!! i wanna go home now.. can i please go home? this is so hard!!!

just got rejected twice today... both places taken up d... am looking for 1 bedroom place and also don't have...*sigh*

Current time: 2 p.m. at LA Airport

Here I am at LAX waiting to board my next flight to go to Montreal. Have to wait for 10 hours as my next flight is a midnight flight. *Sigh* really learnt my lesson. Next time when choosing flight, must also look for convenience, not only the price. Arghh!!

Had to actually check out, go through customs and then check in again. Thank goodness I was able to check in my huge luggages right away orelse I would have to drag them along with me. I am at the airport with no internet connection. there is actually but i don't wanna pay. So yea, typing this out on word. Bought a blended caramel mocha and it taste so yum!! Don't even feel like finishing it. Ishh!! 10 hours wait.

The flight from Auckland to LA was a 13 hours flight. Didn't felt too long. Watched one movie-Waitress, it was alright. Slept and soon ... it was breakfast time. Watched Blind Date but didn't get to finish it. Quite a good movie I reckon'. Wanna finish watching it!!

During the start of the flight, I was terrified. It really struck me that I have left the ones I love and will dearly miss for 5 months! And to some, even longer!! It was only after my first semester exams where I started to meet more great friends. And the friendship grew stronger after that. And now, I'm leaving them. It was like... shit!! It's really true that I won't be seeing them for 5 months! It's not just a dream. At one point, I really wish I could get out of the plane and don't wanna go for exchange at all. But, the plane was already in the air. No more turning back now. What have I gotten myself into? I am going to the other side of the world!! I could have just stayed in Auckland. I don't mind the responsibilities anymore because there's also heaps of fun to it. 5 months. Kept on telling myself once I get to Montreal, I'll slowly adapt and have fun and time will fly. I will be fine.I tried to tell myself I am strong but deep inside, I'm not. Then there were also the thought of getting to Canada and then buying a ticket straight back to NZ. Haha!! I was scared. What if I can't make it? What if I cry myself to bed every night coz I miss home. Man, all these thoughts. My heart was beating really fast. But............................ I fell asleep.

Woke up and then it was dinner time. Didn't really have the mood to eat but I still ate since I paid for it! Was still thinking about all the thoughts I had. I guess that was my emo time. Wasn't emo-ing until I was about to board the plane. So to stop me from thinking even more, I decided to watch a movie. It really helped. Forgot about everything and soon enough, I fell asleep again. When I woke up, I felt much better and the movie Blind Date was a good movie and made me happy again.

Now, I'm all good. It is normal for someone to have all those thoughts. As long as it don't get to me so much and ruin my exchange experience, then it's all good. No, I won't be crying myself to bed every night nor any nights at all. I finally am ready. Ready to face this and take up the challenge. I will return. I will return with lots of stories to tell. I will return and say that I had a great time and it will be one of the best things that ever happened to me.

Bring it On!! I'm not thrash talking like the usual this time. I am for real!!

Alright, i shall now attempt to finish at least day 3 and day 4 of my south island trip. Wahahahaha! Swan, done urs yet? lolx!!!

bonjour from montreal!!

at family friend's place now using the internet.. nice family... first time meeting them as they were friends of another family friend in auckland.... they picked me up from the airport, sent me to my backpackers then came took me out for dinner after my nap...and now i'm at their place using internet...waiting for another of their daughter to come back from work as she's the same year as me and also studying at mcgill.... malaysian... small world don't u think?

had dinner at chinatown then did some grocery shopping.... the first thing i bought: cucumber! Three cheers for shermayne! she bought veges... i bought healthy food today... no meat..... bought muesli bars, cereals, milk, bread and jam.... the food i'm planning to eat for the next few days before finding my apartment.... healthy eh? wanted to get instant noodles but nahhh..... must be healthy since no more mummy to make sure i'm eating healthy.... RaWwwRrr!!

anyway, i'm doing fine so far...the journey here was miserable though.. especially from LA to detroit, detroit to montreal....terrible..cheapo flight....ishhh!!! oh wellz, what's done has been done..... the whole time i was considering whether or not to go LA at all during my trip back.. maybe just forfeit the ticket and buy a one way ticket back to auckland... see how much it will cost me first...still have a long time to think about that.....

as for my flight from nz to LA........ wait for my next post when i get hold of wireless internet on my laptop and u'll kno the experience and thoughts running in my head.... not good ones at all... was blogging abt it in LA airport since i had to wait for 10 hours!!

so so, how's montreal like? well, weather is warm right now. still summer.... gets dark pretty late. like the US, driving is on the other side of the road.... buildings look kinda old over here.... as in the buildings in downtown where the uni is....a lot of places look dodgy and unsafe... doubt i'll be going out much during the nights.... a lot of ppl speak french.. there's also ppl begging for money.... they seem pretty fierce.... i was just walking and they start speaking really loud when i walk pass and ignored them.... guess they were swearing? the aunty said just ignore them, dun make eye contact or anything and just WALK! hahahaha!!

ok larrr...that's it for now...just letting u all know that i'm safe and sound and prove to u that i'm not MIA! see i keep to my promise! but yea, dno when the next time i'll blog.... gna be busy searching for a place to stay as i reali wna get out of the backpackers quick! sharing with so many ppl.. kena conned..the guy wrote to me in the email saying that 4 of us will be in the same room and not sharing with others... stupid.... we are sharing with others..dangerous la.... dun wna get my laptop stolen...hehehehe...

The Last Post

This is most likely going to be the last post before I fly off. Was actually blogging about my dinner till 5am but then had so many photos to upload hence I decided, save it for Canada.

Was so busy yesterday. Backing up all my files (burnt around 20 cds), then reformatting my laptop, reinstall all the programmes and transfer the essential files back in. Took me one whole day. Still not done yet as I still have to download something but I do not know what as I can't view certain things. Ohh wellzzz.... Took me so long coz I lost the driver cd for my laptop hence I had to go to Acer website and download it. What a day!!!

Only managed to finish everything by 2am. Huge huge thanks to roger who was guiding me most of the time especially with installing the anti virus programme. Yes yes, I learnt my lesson. Install anti virus!!! Thanks a bunch man!! Guess he was helping me so much as he felt guilty for deleting the virus on my hd causing it not to work. Hey!!Everything happens for a reason and if that didn't happen, I wouldn't have realized my laptop was also infected. And if I do realize it only when I reach canada, I think I would be super miserable and feeling helpless! So yea... thank goodness it happened here and I am thankful that it happened. Forced me to reformat my laptop. Haha! Later on also realized my mp3 player and all my SD cards were infected to. But yea, thanks to the awesome anti virus programme and roger's help, I managed to clean everything and be virus free!! WeeeEeeEE!!! Happy!!!

As a lot of waiting was involved throughout the whole day, I decided to snap a few pictures of all the lovely presents I got. Man! It's not even my birthday and I get presents. I think I should leave more often. Kekekekekeke :p

Dolphin necklace and dolphin card from my sports science friends. Looks like they do know me as well eh? Gonna miss them heaps. Because of them, I am enjoying my course. Just loving those cats!! Prowlers... hahaha!!! Next to the dolphin card is a super duper lovely handmade card by natalie with a photo of me and her and a photo of me and her other half. So nice!! Thanks nat and david!! I am sure to see you guys when I come back. Stay crazy you two!!!

Travel journal from Debbie (will try my best to fill it up! perhaps at places that don't have internet, then i'll use it. Then copy it to my blog. Heehehehe.. thank you!! It came with a pen as well. So cool!). Next is a bear bear card and a pen from Miss. Gladys!! Had lunch with her on Sunday with Swan and Peilyn. I will be missing you too you siao cha bor!! And yes, I have packed the pen into my pencil case and will bring it to Niagara Falls and take a picture with the pen. Ok? Prove to you that I did bring it to Canada. Haha!!!

Had all the players signature on it and a really sweet message. Awwwwwwww..... you guys can really melt my heart. To the person who came up with the idea (must be swan or jeremy la!!), thankss!!! It's so nice!! I took like heaps more pictures of it and one day, just one day, I will put each and every of them up! Hahaha! I'm not gonna take it to canada coz I love it so so much and I wouldn't want to get it dirty nor do i want to risk losing it. It is hanging up in my room now on my notice board and it shall be remaining there! Thanks once again!! I really do enjoyed the job as a sports officer. Sure there were the down times but the result is sweet in the end :D Gotta thank Swan for keeping me sane throughout the whole time especially before Bersatu. And a huge huge thanks to Jellymi! Thanks for guiding me throughout the whole process. Without your help, I wouldn't be able to do it. Thank you!!! And also thanks for waking up with me on monday morning at 6am to book courts. There were a few other victims as well...nyehehehe.. ivan, wee chin and kee wee. Hope I didn't miss any other victims. thanks guys!!

And also thanks to the whole UMSA tribe for getting 2nd place overall in the Bersatu Games this year. Was so afraid that we wouldn't even get a placing!! So proud of all of you. I know it wasn't really an enjoyable bersatu games this year but it was really not under my control. Though I do hope all of you had fun during the pre-bersatu trainings and made new friendship. Don't you reckon' it'll be a challenge for next year's sports officer to live up to this? Heeeheee :p But I'm sure he/she will be able to hack it!! (That is if I'm guessing that person will be taking the role of the sports officer la!)

So now, this is me. Flying off to Canada in less than 12 hours. Flight got rescheduled to 2145 instead of 1305. Which is good as I get to go into the city and say my last goodbyes! bonus la! Hehehehe....

This is also me ending the role of UMSA's sports officer for 2007. I truly had a great time and if I were to do it again, I would!! As jeremy told me at the start of this year, it is really a fun job! Now I know why. Hahahaha!!!

Goodbye to.... to my last post I will have in new zealand for the next 5 months. After this, I will be blogging in Canada. Don't worry, I definitely won't be MIA in my blog. I may be MIA in person but never in the blog.

To those whom I will never see again after my trip ... I will be missing all of you so much but I'll be seeing you in msia when I do go back. Keep in touch. I do not want to be losing you just like that. Realized it's mostly people whom I met this year and got to know them better towards the middle of the year. Vanessa and PeiLyn, I'm gonna miss both of you so so much. Vanessa, you've been a really great friend and a great dance teacher. One who have faith in everyone. Yes, everyone can dance. Don't dance the steps, dance the dance. i will remember that. I'm already missing you. You said if we are going bersatu next year, you'll fly to nz and support us. Is that true? Hehehehe.. I'll be looking forward to that!! thnx for everything girl!!! Peilyn..... *speechless* You're just....... you're just..... the highlight of my days la... netball next year will definitely not be like netball this year. To foong and uda who also told me they might not be here next year when I come back.... *sigh* It was great knowing both of you. Great fun during volleyball trainings and the road trip. Will cherish those wonderful times forever. See you guys in Malaysia la!!! Who knows? What a day yesterday!!

The good things:
- Getting to see the people i will dearly miss one last time before I go MIA for 5 months.
- So many lovely gifts!! A door organizer which I am pretty excited to use it, a Champion hoodie (thanks so much swan)!!!!!!!! and the one and only Nike shirt with all the players name on it.Omg!!! Thank you so much guys!!! So touched! But sorry you don't get to see me shed a tear. I was just overjoyed. I only cry when.... when I'm angry. Hehehehe....

The bad things:
- Harddrive got infected with a trojan virus and now can't be detected by the computer
- 2 other things that can't be mentioned just in case some one finds out :S Ask me if you really wna know. Let's just say having a car can be bad sometimes (no I didn't get into an accident)
- Came home and tried to fix my laptop and now.... can't access the C drive.

Wahahahahaha!! The bad things just made the day so bad. One of the unluckiest day in my life. No more dolphin charm to protect me. See!! Luck really no more. Guess I just gta make my own luck, eh? Didn't even have mood to blog about last Friday. I'll do that once I get my laptop fix. Time to reformat it AGAIN!!! Man, I should have paid attention to Hwei Gjin's blog a few months ago about the virus . I think it's the same one. Arghhh!!!!!

they are never satisfied...

Let's face it. I'm a last minute person. Of course it's not a good thing but somehow, I can always handle it and get things done in the end. Hence, it's hard for me to change to become a more organized person as things usually turn out alright for me. So I figured, why change if all is good?

I wish you could just accept me for who I am and that I am like this. Everyone has their flaws. This is one of mine. I've tried to change so that you can be happy and be satisfied with me. And of all people, I thought you would've been proud of me but it doesn't seem like it. I'm never good enough for you, am I?

It's like you're never satisfied and always finding fault with me. One after another. When I've sorted something out and have found a solution to it, you don't really praise me on that, you'll just find something else to nag about. It sucks and it upsets me knowing that you are not happy with me and that you don't really trust me. It's like you don't believe in me that I am strong and capable enough to take up the challenge.

Please know that I do care and I am worried. Please know that I am trying to be less last minute than the usual and I am learning to be more organized. Don't think of me as the person with the couldn't-be-bothered attitude. I just don't show that I care but I do care!! I'm doing everything to make sure I'll survive. Doesn't mean that you don't see me worrying means that I am not worried. Doesn't mean that you don't see me preparing means that I'm not prepared and have got my act together.

I wish you could trust me. I wish for you to believe in me. These are the wishes from your daughter...

Let's just fast forward to TODAY. Because today, the weather was super awesome and I've got a story about the beloved swannie to tell....

in the afternoon, went to level 0 to meet swan and peilyn for lunch. B4 meeting gladys, they went to the toilet and................. Swan dropped her water bottle into the toilet bowl! Silly girl trying to balance her bottle on top of the toilet paper dispenser and it fell! That's not it. This girl picked it up (yea, that's the right thing to do of course) and then decided to wash it (you're suppose to pick it up and chuck it into the bin!). And she was saying "nevermind, i use soap and hot water to wash!!" aiyooo...buy la new one. it's not those expensive water bottles. it's just a mizone water bottle!! then when i told her to at least throw the water inside and fill it up with new water, she said..."really ar??"... aiyoyoyoyo!! toilet bowl k!! Swan o Swan! you really crack me up! But yeaaa... in the end she decided to throw it away (after washing it like for a few minutes?). Good decision swannie!!!

Ok, so that's the end!! Sorry.. i just had to blog about it. The dangers of having a friend who blogs eh? Humiliate you all the time only. Hahaha! you know my intentions are good. You get famous thru ppl's blog. Classic example: when gladys knew who peilyn is but peilyn din know gladys. Lolx!!!

Lunch itself was alright but the company was great. Probably the last time I will see gladys before flying off. Thanks for the lovely card and pen! Yes,I'll bring it to canada and take a picture of it to prove to u that i brought it to canada!!!

now...my mission...my mission to st.heliers... yes i did it last week but today.. i did it again!!!

The weather was perfect. Mr.Sunshine was out!! It took me 10 minutes to decide whether or not I should go for a run or just stay at uni till 1 and watch my movies. I decided... RUN!! Run was good today. Ran all the way to St.Heliers. The sun was out, the weather was great. Took me 55 mins to complete a wee bit under 10km as I stopped mid of St.Heliers and then walked perhaps a few hundred metres to reach the end. Was curious to see how far is it to reach the end of St.Heliers and was wondering where Ladies Bay was. No, I couldn't find Ladies Bay. It's not really connected to St.Heliers. You have to go thru housing areas and run up cliff rd. Yes, UP. That means uphill so I decided, save it for another time. Don't want to get lost plus... I was tired and I had blisters. Decided to walk back to city instead of catching the bus as the weather was just too good! On my way, I bought a powerade drink and a soft serve cone from burger king. Lolx! Thank goodness I brought $5 with me. Hehehehe.. Took me close to 2 hours to reach city. Damn long. Three cheers to the invention on mp4 players!! Bwahahahaha!!! So happy with today. Am happy that I finally completed my mission the way I wanted it to be. Ahhhh!!!! Thanks mr.sunshine for coming out today :D

What an awesome day! Feeling much more satisfied than last week's run. Huhuhuhu!! next run like this will be next yr!! Round the bays, I'm up for it! Definitely gna go for it next year! Bring it on!! Now, time for some movies. I'm having a blister on each foot. Think I need to get new shoes. Hehehehe....

I'm feeling down, dark and gloomy. Didn't know such a small thing would hv such an effect on me.

i lost my dolphin necklace :( I really don't know where i dropped it. Either at the dance studio on top of mcd or the rec centre. Didn't realize it till I reached home. *sigh* I really liked it. No, not like. LOVE. It was given to me by peiyun. But now, it's gone and never to be found. I'm gonna miss it. I made it my lucky charm this year. And I gta admit, I've been pretty lucky with it. This is the best picture I have.

Now I just hope I don't really need a lucky charm to be lucky coz I do need lotsa luck right now. Maybe I should go start searching for another dolphin pendant.

man! by next week, you'll be gone. not gone for like one or two weeks. it's like you'll just disappear. disappear for 5 months. we've never been separated for so long. 5 months. that's nearly half a year. the youngest in the family and you're the first to be away for so long. it's like, you're just packing and moving out just like that to the other side of the world.

Yes, I'm starting to get scared. The thought of it is exciting. It's what I wanted. A challenge. Something different. Running away from reality, running away from responsibilities. But it's terrifying at the same time. Sometimes I wonder, is it really running away from reality or actually stepping into reality? Am I really running away from responsibilites or actually asking for more? I think it's the latter. RaWwrRrrRr!!!

One week. One week from now. One week from now I'll be leaving my family for 5 months. Never done that before. Something new. One week from now I'll be leaving a bunch of wonderful friends I met this and last year. Yes, I had that feeling before when I left malaysia 5 years back. If I recalled, it wasn't a pleasant feeling at all. *sigh* I'm ready la... I've done it, I can do it again! Plus, it's 5 months. I'll see them again. Well, most of them. As some will be going back to malaysia for good by the end of this year. *great big sigh*

Now I just wonder, will things be the same when I come back next year? I hope it will. Coz things aren't the same everytime I go back to Malaysia. Will just have to wait and see.

K, need my beauty sleep now. Bwahahahaha!! So looking forward to my dinner tonight. Guests list: 40 over ppl. Teeeheeeheeee :D

of searching, looking and waiting

And I thought things would be easy...

But here I am, at 3.30am in the morning searching for more accommodation. Building up my list of apartments to look at when I arrive.

Today itself I've sent out 20 emails. Been getting rejected by many apartments. They want long term. *sigh* I've even resorted to looking for 1 bedroom apartments/share with strangers if all else fails. That'd be my last resort.

So far, I've got only 4 potential ones. Out of I do not know how many apartments I enquired. Going crazy. But it's not too bad. At least I've got a place to stay for the first week with the 3 other girls. Will be staying at a backpackers, $20/night.

I can foresee my first week there will not only be occupied with orientation but also hunting of apartments and looking at them. How exciting!! Guess this is part of going for an exchange eh? Though I actually thought I would be provided a place in the residence hall and mingle around with other international students. Ohh wellzzzz....

Ok, search on Hold now. Will resume tmrw. Need sleep.

jogging to st.heliers

And so my mission to St.Heliers Bay was accomplished.

But I wasn't satisfied.

Why?
1. Coz the weather sucked so bad in the morning. It was windy while I was jogging. When I reached Mission Bay, it was pouring. I was drenched and freezing!
2. I had to stop for 10 mins or so at Mission Bay for the rain to stop which totally sucked coz I just picked up my momentum and it came to the point where I could kept on going and going but stupid rain had to make me stop!
3. When I started my jog from mission bay to st.heliers, I forgotten to start my watch. Hence, I don't have my timing from mission bay to st.heliers. But time for britomart to mission bay was 42min 21 sec.
4. When I reached uni and showered, the sun came out and it was just the perfect weather for a run. RaAwWwRRrR!!!

So yeaaa.. I made it to St.Heliers but not how I wanted it to be. Ohh wellzzz...another time. Next week will be my last weekend here. I'll go for a jog if the weather is superb (like right now where it's sunny). If not, there's next year :D

I would like to go for more jogs now ... because after a long run, you can just EAT and EAT and EAT and not feeling guilty at all :p The body is happy, the tastebud is happy, the tummy is happy which all adds up to a happy shermayne!

the search continues ..................... *sigh* why o why does it have to be so hard? makes me think... searching for an accommodation is probably way harder than searching for a guy to go on a date with me. bet if i were to send out the same amount of emails i've sent out for my accommodation hunt to guys instead to go on a date with me, i'll get more positive replies from them than for accommodation. hahahaha!!!! am i right?? lolx!! gosh i'm going crazy!! thank goodness for choc boutique tonight!!!

I'm supposed to be very free. I seemed to be very free to everyone. But, I don't think I am. Thought I'll have time to indulge myself in movies and finish up all my tv series. But no, haven't been watch much. Apart from monday where I finished 10 episodes of smallville :p

Thursday

-Beauty and the Beast musical production at macleans. Awesome show! Enjoyed myself heaps. beauty and the beast is my all-time favourite cartoon!! Watched it like every single day when i was a kid.Yes, my favourite character's Belle. Teehee :p And now watching the college students acting it out.. wahh!!! Nice nice.... when i was in college, these ppl were all young lil ones.. so cute running around. now they're all grown up. the lil boy that used to have a chipmunk voice now have a manly voice. huge change! huge change! lolx!! Went back home after that and vanessa gave me private dancing lessons. Ahahaha! Gta prepare myself for dv8 the next night. She's awesome!! As usual, dance lessons always have funny moments. Kekekeke... luckily i was the only one so no one else to laugh at me except... except for vanessa. Hahaha! thanks girl for having so much patience with me!

Friday

- Good deal at Rip Curl :p 2 jandals for $20. How not to say NO to it? Even vanessa and rayvin who were meant to just tag along also decided to buy one each. Hahaha!

- Nat's birthday dinner at Dolce Vita. Swan and I reached there late again. *sigh* we were late for sheng's bday.. and now, nat's bday... haiyohh!!! Sorry!!!! Happy birthday girl!! Later it was back to her place for a few drinks. Vanessa came along after her yogoberry. Ish Ish! i want yogoberry!!! They played a drinking game. I didn't join in as I had to drive later on. Hehehe.. very interesting. Very similar to the one I had during my 18th except mine was with coke and jolly shandy. Hahaha!!!

Drank V before I went in. Was kinda sleepy before that. It was a long day. Didn't like techno so we went to the RnB room. The music was nice at first but later on when they changed the DJ, I didn't like it anymore. Van's private dance lesson did pay off.they played the song twice and i wasn't left out. i knew the steps to it.. lolx! left at 3. Slept at 4.30. Stayed a night at 96. thanks celest, jasmin and joo ann for letting us stay!! ohh and thanks rayvin for ur sleeping bag, duvet and pillow for which u claim them having a manly scent to it. i couldn't smell anything. i was too tired.Haha!

Saturday

- Volleyball. Woke up at 8 something. Was meant to wake up at 755 to move my car but nahh.. it was raining heavily so i doubt that the parking warden would come. washed up, pick the guys up and then it was off to mangere. thanks foong for the packed ih breakfast (tho i was wishing for eggs and ham.. haha!!). so tired the whole day. so blur. but it was still a fun day! did drills today and then played games. Fun la.. enjoying volleyball.. hehehe! Went home and slept from 3 till 6. Seriously knocked out.

Sunday

What a disappointing morning. Went to rec centre a lil bit before 9 and waited for it to open to book courts. we were the first to go swipe our cards and book the courts for next saturday.. was so happy that we can actually get the courts. but........... the courts were pre-booked. *sigh* what a waste! all the waking up for nothing. Well, at least it ain't at 5am. But still.... felt bad also to get ivan to wake up for the 2nd week in a row and also didn't manage to book courts. i hope my luck this coming sunday will be better and get to book courts for next saturday!! it'll be my last sports weekend!!

Newayzzz... after sending ivan back to ih, i still had an hr plus to spare before super sports began. Decided to run. First wanted to just run to grafton campus and back but ended up running through domain and back and down to rasa sayang and back up to uni. It was around 45 mins so I assumed 6.5 k?

Went to level 0 to watch some smallville first before super sports. vanessa and yingswan were there too studying. Hehehe.. van made me a pair of earrings! So nice! I Like! I like a lot!! Thanks van!!!

Super sports Sunday-Played basketball. Hahaha!! Fun!!! But tiring! Way way tiring than netball. Coz you have to run the whole court and have to get back to defense QUICK, real QUICK. If you're too slow, then BYE BYE! The opponent scores. Volleyball after that. Good to have so many ppl turn up. Didn't play much as I was tired. Netball was good! So many ppl turn up as well! Both guys and girls. So happy!!! Played GA and GS. Can't shoot anymore. *sigh* But towards the end I got the hang of it. Carlo came for netball as well and man!! He can shoot. Must learn from him!! He stand so far from the net and when you think the ball won't go in, it goes in! RawwwWrrr!! See, we really can form a guys netball team d.

After sports, we wanted to get yogoberry. Got there.... and it was CLOSE. so sad... *sigh* went to wendys instead. Not as satisfying as yogo but still good coz I didn't eat since...... wait, i didn't eat at all the whole day! apart from yingswan's kit kat that kept me going. Thanks swan!!

Overall, a happy day. And well done to vanessa who came and play all three sports! So proud of u girl!!!!! She even scored during bball! WooOOooTtT!!


Monday

A very relaxing day. Woke up at 10. Just stayed home the whole day. Eat, smallville, eat, smallville, sleep, eat, smallville. Yeapzzz.. that's my Monday... Teeheeee :p


Tuesday

Cold day. Woke up and continued my apartment hunting. Later, it was off to collect my air ticket and find a bicycle lock. It was raining heavily and had to wait in the car about 10 minutes before I get out. Air ticket ain't flexible. Can't change the dates even if I wanna pay. Might actually look into not going to Tahiti at all and buy a one way ticket from LA-Akl. *sigh* should have just gotten the $3000 air ticket that is more flexible and doesn't go thru tahiti.Haihhh. It's only $300 more. Ishh!!! Nevermind, I learnt my lesson. There's always a first time in everything. The only good thing that happened to me on this day was this:

yea bro!! $3000 in my pocket! Weee!! Now flying from LA to Akl ain't that bad la.. can use this money to pay for it. But yea... if only I bought the $3000 ticket, then less hassle in the first place. ish!

Wednesday
Went to uni with bro. For what reason? Well, I just didn't want to stay home anymore plus I miss my friends. Yes, I actually miss not seeing them even if it's just for two days.. Lolx! Die laa go canada.... went for the dance practice from 3-7. Man!! they really do put in a lot of effort for the upcoming ball. Train so hard So many times a week. Even harder than sports!! A great big pat on the back for all the dancers! For those who haven't got their ball ticket, go get it NOW! Tickets are selling out!! You will regret if you don't go to this year's ball, trust me on this one. I'm already regretting not being able to go. So, GO!!!!!


Thursday

i.e. TODAY. I became Maria (typical name for a maid :p) for the day. Washed the toilet, vacuumed, clean my room, change my bedsheets, did the laundry and.. cooked dinner!! Honey Soy Chicken. First time cooking it. And it tasted GOOD!!!! Wanted to just fry onion chicken but decided to try something new. Thank goodness it turned out well. Teeheeee....



Ok, that's it for now. It may still seem I'm not doing much but mind you.. HEAPS of time are being spent on looking for a place to stay. And no, I haven't found one yet.
