happy belated father's day.

My radio alarm rang at 7.30 this morning and I lay in bed till 9.30 listening to the radio. Heard this song and realized today's 9-11!! Sad song larr...poor little girl, no more dad. The little girl's voice is so cute and so sad at the same time. She's so innocent, sucks how she lost her dad due to the 9-11 incident. Feel so sad for her.

I heard the song last year as well and it also moved me. Now every single time I listen to the song, it will actually remind me of how lucky I am, to still have my dad with me. Man! I can't imagine a world without my dad. Who's gonna be there to guide me? Love me? What would my childhood be like if I didn't have him? Ok, now's actually a good time to show my appreciation for my dad since I haven't actually sit down and blog on how much I love him. I didn't do it on Father's Day, be it Msia father's day or NZ's Father's day(last sunday).We tend to take things(and people in this case) for granted in life and only start appreciating them when they are not with us anymore. But I don't want that to happen. I want to realize it now and then start showing how much I appreciate him and be thankful for still having him. Because without my dad, I won't be able to:

- get a goodnight hug and kiss from him
- celebrate father's day
- say "bye bye papa, love you, have a nice day" before i leave the house
- have someone to kacau and wrestle with when i'm bored (i can do that with my bro but sometimes he don't layan, dad always layan =D)
- put my cold hands on my dad's face during winter and start laughing
- just calling "papa" and then get a reply from him and then i would say "nothing!!" for fun
- listen to lame comments/excuses that dad would make during dinner time and laugh at it
- learn how to drink wine and know my limit ( 3 glasses is my limit, had a tough time doing the dishes after that. dizzy dizzy. i'm terrible.)
- save heaps of money on driving lessons
- have a education in NZ and do the course I'm doing now

The list can go on but I shall stop here. Till next Father's Day la... Happy Belated Father's Day Dad!!!
