19 January - A very special day

Memories of you ... and to many many more :)

You who would give me piggy back rides when I was a lil kid. Who would always be the man behind the camera, recording our every lil move. You who taught me how to change a lightbulb, handle a hammer and a nail. Who would let me use the water blaster and blasts off the old paint before chinese new year. Who would let me climb the ladder and paint the pillars of the house, the gates. You who gave me such a wonderful childhood.

You who introduced me to many sports when I was young, who enrolled me to Taekwondo and swimming lessons. Who made sure I was doing useful activities rather than staying at home and play with my Barbie dolls. You who made me who I am today, one who enjoys sports.

You whose office and cell phone number is still oh-so clear in my head. You whom I would ring up at 6.30pm everyday during my tuition and swimming years. You whom I disturb all the time, asking what time you'll be back to send me to tuitions and trainings. You who I ring up every 5 minutes, to make sure you've left the office, to make sure you're on the way home and not be late. You who always give in to me.

You who takes the whole family for holiday every year when I was young. I can still remember the very first time I sat an airplane was to Indonesia. When I was 7. Western Aussie when I was 10, US when I was 11, Sydney when I was 12. Around NZ after I turned 13, and back and forth to Malaysia. You who really values family time. Who puts family on top of work and everything else. Thank you.

You who is a great man. A humble man. A great husband. Who gets praised all the time by all the aunties and uncles. Who is termed the Ladies Man. Who makes mummy simply the luckiest woman. You.... are the MAN!!

And yesterday my dad said

"I don't want to blow candles, I don't want to be a year older."

Ignorance is bliss eh? I guess there's someone else in this family who's living up to this motto as well. Hahaha!!

Papa, you're not older, you're just wiser :) You'll forever be young at heart.

Age is simply just a number.
